The cured adhesive is not conductive
First, you need to know if the adhesive cured fully. The cured adhesive should have a hard consistency and is not tacky to the touch. If the adhesive appears cured, it may be that the cured sample has insufficient silver. Contact technical support for further discussion [email protected]
What is the tolerance in terms of discrepancies with the mix ratio?
The thick consistency of these adhesives makes it difficult to dispense an accurate amount of material. We suggest using a scale and weighing out the individual components using the mix ratio by weight. Differences of 5% from the target amount of the mix ratio do not prevent the epoxy from curing.
How can I make the adhesive more flowable?
You can lower the thickness by adding a bit of solvent like acetone to the dispensed material and mixing. For 2-part products, only add solvent after you’ve measured out and mixed the 2 components. Add solvent dropwise as small amounts can make a noticeable change to the thickness.
Can I machine the cured epoxy?
Once cured, you can machine the epoxy to some extent like sanding and polishing. The high filler content makes it quite brittle so we do not suggest machining like drilling.
