MG Chemicals RMA Super Wick™ is premium desoldering braid made from tightly woven, oxide-free copper wire coated with RMA flux. This combination ensures rapid solder absorption with minimal dwell time, making it an efficient and reliable choice for professional electronics rework and repair.
Unlike hot air or vacuum-based rework methods, desoldering braid offers precise, localized heat transfer, reducing the risk of thermal stress and damage to surrounding components or PCB substrates. It allows technicians to quickly clean pads, remove excess solder, and correct solder bridges with superior control and minimal equipment.
RMA Super Wick is particularly effective for through-hole repair, surface mount touch-up, benchtop servicing, and general circuit board rework. Its high-purity copper weave provides exceptional wicking speed and capacity, ensuring faster cleanup and shorter repair cycles.
