RTV108 – Clear Silicone Sealant
RTV108 is a one-component, ready-to-use clear sealant. It is commonly used for sealing, caulking, insulating, bonding, and formed-in-place gasketing.

Full Product Details
This clear silicone sealant cures to a tough, durable and resilient rubber on exposure to atmospheric moisture at room temperature. Acetic acid vapors are released from the sealant surface as a by-product of cure.
RTV108 has a standard strength paste consistency and can be applied to vertical and overhead surfaces where pourable/self-leveling sealants are not practical. It is an ideal product when a translucent clear silicone caulk is needed for filling cracks or gaps, or whenever a clear silicone waterproof sealant is needed.
Because it utilizes a moisture cure system, this clear silicone adhesive should not be used in thicknesses greater than 6mm (1/4 in). Where section depths exceed 6mm (1/4 in.) we recommend using Momentive Performance Materials one-component addition cure or two-component silicone rubber compounds.
For black and translucent silicone adhesives, try RTV103. RTV106 is our high temperature resistant silicone adhesive sealant.
