832FXT – Flexible Epoxy Resin

The 832FXT flexible epoxy resin is a low modulus potting compound intended for applications where components are delicate and require softer materials. The 832FXT is elastomeric and exerts little stress on parts that expand and contract such as during aggressive thermal cycling. Though not as rigid as conventional epoxy potting compounds, the 832FXT is tough and can still dissipate kinetic energy, protecting underlying components from stressors like shocks, vibrations and impacts.  

The 832FXT is specially formulated with a slightly thicker viscosity than the 832FX to limit wetting and wicking into tight spaces. It otherwise retains many of the desired properties of the 832FX such as flexibility, adhesion, electrical insulation and a convenient 1:1 mix ratio. The formulation has been customized for dual cartridge dispensing for added convenience. This product cures at room temperature and can be accelerated with heat.

For 2-part black rigid epoxies consider 832B or 832HD. For 2-part clear rigid epoxies try 832C or 832WC. We also offer 2-part thermal epoxy and high temperature epoxy potting compounds.

Our 2-part flame-retardant epoxy potting compounds are 834B, 834HTC and 834FX.
