8329A – Epoxy Mold Release

The 8329A epoxy mold release is a silicone-free mold release agent that prevents thermosetting resin systems like epoxies and polyurethanes from sticking to metal molds. It deposits a thin oily film onto the mold surface, preventing resins from adhering to the mold as they cure.

This release agent was developed specifically for transfer and compression molding. It can be safely used on most types of plastic. It is very efficient at fully penetrating molds and forming a thin, even coat across the mold surfaces, ensuring a clean part release. The mold release is a turnkey product that requires no preparation or work post-application. Simply spray the release agent evenly onto the mold and pour in the mixed resin, no drying is required.
